A Message from our CEO

 

Thank you for your interest in our courses.

The Institute of Allied Health is a national education provider specialising in courses leading to working in support and administrative roles in health-related services.

With the number of allied health professionals increasing by 40.2% in the five years between 2015 and 2020*, there is an increasing need for support and care staff to assist allied health practitioners in their work. And the industry employing allied health employees, the Health Care and Social Assistance Industry, is predicted to grow by 14.2% over the next 5 years**.

As you can see, the demand for allied health employees and professionals is high, and continuing to grow. It’s this demand that’s creating career opportunities in this greatly rewarding field.

The Institute of Allied Health is part of the Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors (AIPC), a long-standing provider of flexible counsellor education. Subsequently, the Institute has plenty of experience on which to draw to ensure you experience a high quality, fully supported online learning experience. It’s what our team have done for over 30 years, and we have enthusiastically extended this expertise into allied health training.

Our founding purpose as an organisation is: to assist people formalise their natural helping abilities so they can support others to leave happier, healthier lives. This is our passion. In return, we have the good fortune to see our graduates enriching the lives of others.

Our experience in flexible and online learning is supported by our understanding of the needs of our students. For this reason, our courses and educational support are as flexible and accessible as possible. Institute courses are self-paced allowing you to progress at a speed that suits you; either moderately according to your lifestyle commitments, or faster if you wish to graduate sooner.

Once you have completed your course, as a graduate, we will support you through our Work Ready program to access mentoring and resources to assist your job search efforts.
